Who we are
This policy explains how Energize Builders Inc ("Energize Builders", "we", "us") collects, uses and shares information through www.energizebuilders.com (the "Website"). We are a licensed California general contractor, CSLB #1112649, with an office at 13910 Fiji Way, Suite 270, Marina del Rey, CA 90292.
This page has two parts: this Privacy Policy, and the Website Terms below it. Both apply when you use the Website.
Information you give us
When you fill in a form on the Website, you may give us:
- Contact details: your name, email address, phone number and ZIP code.
- Project details: project type, project location, investment range, planning stage, preferred timeline, and anything you write in the message box.
- Professional details if you are a designer, architect or other professional: your role and firm.
- Your choice about marketing messages: whether you ticked the optional box that lets us send you marketing texts and emails.
If you call, email or message us (for example on WhatsApp), we receive what you send, along with your phone number or email address.
We may also receive your name, contact details and a short description of your project from someone who refers you to us, such as an architect, designer or another client, or from a review or directory website you contact us through.
Information collected automatically
With an inquiry
When you submit an inquiry, we receive the answers and optional marketing choices you provide, the public page you sent it from, any project references and note you choose to include, and the submission time. The form uses a signed session, timing and rate limits to help prevent spam and duplicate submissions. It does not attach your browsing history, campaign tags or referring URL.
While you browse
Our hosting and media delivery providers receive the network information needed to deliver the Website, such as your IP address, requested page or file, browser information and request time. If you allow analytics, Google Analytics receives a canonical public page address, a general site title, visit timing, browser and device information, and a browser identifier stored in its cookies. Google receives network information, including your IP address, when the tag connects. We exclude inquiry and private workspace pages, URL query strings, fragments, referring addresses, form answers and saved briefs from analytics. Advertising pixels are not loaded. If you separately allow session replay, Microsoft Clarity receives masked page layout and interaction data such as clicks, scrolling, timing, browser and device details. Microsoft receives your IP address when a recording is sent. See Session replay for the restrictions and remaining information processed.
How we use information
- To reply to your inquiry, set up calls and site visits, and prepare scopes, schedules and budgets.
- To plan, build and document projects, and to keep business, tax and licensing records.
- To route and prioritize inquiries in our customer records.
- To protect our forms from spam, fraud and abuse.
- To understand how the Website is used and improve it.
- To send you information about our services, if you ask us to or have an ongoing conversation with us. You can ask us to stop at any time.
- To comply with the law and protect our rights.
Analytics, advertising and other tools
The Website uses its own inquiry form, locally served fonts and code, and browser-based accessibility and motion controls. Optional Google Analytics and Microsoft Clarity session replay have separate permission controls. We do not load Inputflow, Google reCAPTCHA, UserWay, a Google Tag Manager container, Meta Pixel or ClickCease.
Privacy signals. Global Privacy Control (GPC) or Do Not Track keeps both optional measurement tools off, even if a prior choice allowed them. Advertising tracking remains off. These choices do not prevent the network requests needed to deliver the Website or process an inquiry you choose to send.
Your choices and opt-outs
Analytics stays off until you select Allow analytics. Use Privacy choices in the footer to keep it off or withdraw permission at any time. Turning it off stops recording new visits and removes the current analytics cookies from this browser. Information already sent or queued is not recalled. GPC or Do Not Track overrides an earlier allowance. If your browser cannot save preferences, your choice lasts only for the current page visit. You can also clear saved references and preferences through your browser’s site-data controls.
You choose separately whether to receive marketing texts or emails when you submit an inquiry. These choices are optional. To ask about, correct or delete information you have sent us, use the contact details under Seeing, correcting or deleting your information.
Use Privacy choices in the footer separately to allow or turn off Microsoft Clarity. A new replay permission reloads the page. Withdrawal stops new collection, discards unsent replay data, removes this Website’s Clarity cookies and reloads the page. Data already delivered to Microsoft cannot be recalled by this control. If your browser cannot save the replay preference, replay stays off. A Google Analytics allowance does not allow replay.
Calls, texts and emails
We use the contact details you give us to reply to your inquiry and to work with you on your project, by phone, email or text.
Marketing messages. If you tick the optional box on our forms, we may also send you marketing texts and emails about our projects and services. Ticking it is not a condition of working with us. We send emails from our Google Workspace accounts and texts from our team’s phones. Message frequency varies, and message and data rates may apply. We keep a record of your choice with your inquiry in our customer records.
To stop, reply STOP to any text, reply “unsubscribe” to any email, or call (310) 963-1567. We will stop within 10 business days. We do not share your phone number or text-messaging consent with anyone for their own marketing.
How long we keep it
- Clients and projects: we keep project records for 10 years after a project is completed. California allows claims about hidden construction defects for up to 10 years (Code of Civil Procedure §337.15), and we need the records to answer them.
- Inquiries that don’t become projects: we keep them for up to 3 years, then delete them.
We keep information longer only when the law requires it or to resolve a dispute. After that we delete it or keep it in a form that no longer identifies you.
Google Analytics event and user data retention is set to 14 months. Standard aggregated reports can be kept longer. Turning analytics off changes future collection, not earlier records.
Microsoft states that ordinary Clarity recordings are retained for 30 days. Heatmap data and recordings that are favorited or labeled can be retained for up to nine months. Provider retention and deletion rules apply to previously collected data; turning replay off prevents future collection.
Security
We use encrypted connections (HTTPS), request validation, signed form sessions, rate limits and duplicate-submission controls to help protect the public inquiry service. Hosting protections and access controls support these measures. No website or online service can guarantee complete security. Please do not send passwords, government identification, bank or card details through the public form.
We and our service providers process information in the United States and, for some providers, other countries under their security and privacy terms. To report a suspected website security issue, email contact@energizebuilders.com. Do not include passwords or attempt to access other people’s information.
Seeing, correcting or deleting your information
You can ask us what personal information we have about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it. Email contact@energizebuilders.com or call (310) 963-1567. Tell us which request you are making and how we can reply. Please do not send identification documents, passwords or financial account details in an initial request.
We may ask for information reasonably needed to confirm your identity and locate your records. An authorized agent may contact us on your behalf; we may need to verify their authority. We may retain records where the law permits or requires it, and will explain any applicable limit on fulfilling a request. We will not treat you differently for exercising your rights.
California residents may have rights to know, access, correct and delete personal information, to opt out of sale or sharing for cross-context behavioral advertising, and to limit certain uses of sensitive personal information, where applicable. We honor rights that apply to our business. Optional analytics and replay can also be turned off using their separate preference controls on this Website. The California Privacy Protection Agency explains these rights and their scope.
Children
The Website is intended for adults aged 18 and over planning construction projects. It is not directed to children, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has sent us information, contact us so we can review and delete it as appropriate.
Changes to this policy
We will post any changes on this page and update the effective date at the top. If a change is significant, we will say so clearly on this page.
Using this website
By using the Website you agree to these terms. Please use it lawfully. Do not try to disrupt or damage it, send malicious code through it, or copy or scrape it with automated tools without our written permission.
Information, not a quote
Articles, prices, cost ranges and examples on the Website are general information based on our experience and published sources. They are not a quote, a contract, or engineering, legal or permitting advice for your property. Every project is priced in writing after we review the site, the drawings and the reports that apply to it.
Our content
The text, photographs, drawings, logos and design of the Website belong to Energize Builders Inc or the people who licensed them to us, and are protected by copyright and trademark law. You may share links to our pages. Please ask before reusing our content.
Limitation of liability
We work to keep the Website accurate and available, but we provide it as is. To the fullest extent the law allows, Energize Builders Inc is not liable for damages arising from your use of the Website or your reliance on its general information. This does not limit any rights you have under a written contract with us or under laws that cannot be waived.
Other websites
The Website links to other sites, including Google, Houzz, Yelp, Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn and WhatsApp. We do not control them, and their own terms and privacy policies apply.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of California.

Microsoft Clarity session replay
Session replay is optional and off until you choose Allow session replay. It helps us evaluate page layout, navigation and usability. We mask page text. Replay stops before interaction with form controls, saved-brief areas, dialogs or replay preferences. Inquiry and private pages are excluded entirely. We do not intentionally send form answers, saved notes, custom customer identifiers or marketing events to Clarity.
Replay is restricted to approved public pages on www.energizebuilders.com. It stays off when this browser has a saved brief, on inquiry, search and private pages, on addresses containing query strings or fragments, and when the referring page is outside the permitted public context. It stops before a page navigation, when the page becomes hidden, and after at most four minutes on a page. Eligible new page visits check permission again. GPC and Do Not Track keep replay off.
Masking is a safeguard, not a guarantee that all information is anonymous. Microsoft still receives permitted page and layout information, including page structure, styling and element attributes, device and interaction details, and the connection’s IP address. Please avoid placing sensitive information in public page addresses or browser-injected page content. Advertising storage is denied. See Microsoft’s Privacy Statement and Clarity’s retention information.
Form security and Cloudflare Turnstile
Updated October 8, 2026. At the final contact step, Cloudflare Turnstile checks for automated abuse before we accept a new inquiry. Cloudflare receives technical signals from your browser and device, connection information including your IP address, this website’s hostname and a random form-session identifier. We do not send your email, phone number or project answers to the Turnstile verification API.
This security check is required to send an online inquiry and is separate from optional analytics, session replay and marketing permissions. The short-lived verification token is held in page memory and verified by our server; it is not included in your customer record. We do not enable Turnstile pre-clearance cookies. Cloudflare processes verification data under its privacy policy. If the check is unavailable or presents an accessibility barrier, call (310) 963-1567 or email contact@energizebuilders.com.
We check email syntax and phone numbering patterns and offer optional corrections for common email-provider typos. These checks help reduce mistakes and obvious placeholder numbers; they do not prove ownership of an email account or phone number. We do not send a verification call or text as part of this check.
Optional AI project concierge
Added October 15, 2026. The Project Concierge is an automated AI assistant, not a live employee. When you start AI answers and send a question, your question and a limited amount of recent conversation are sent through Vercel AI Gateway to an AI model operated by OpenAI. The assistant uses a curated snapshot of public project and service pages, and links to supporting website information. AI answers can be incomplete or inaccurate. Confirm project-specific costs, dates, responsibilities and other important details directly with our team. The assistant cannot book work, send an inquiry, enter an agreement or approve a design.
We do not save chat content in our application database. The conversation and project outline stay in the current browser tab until you reload or clear them. We request zero-data-retention routing for model calls. Vercel and its model providers process requests under their applicable privacy and security terms; see Vercel privacy and OpenAI privacy. Do not enter confidential project documents, passwords, financial information, medical information or other sensitive records. Your private client workspace is not available to this assistant.
Cloudflare Turnstile verifies the beginning of an AI conversation. It receives browser and connection signals, the website hostname and a random session identifier, not the chat text. Short-lived signed sessions and rate counters help prevent abuse. We store hashed network identifiers and counters for up to 32 days for these controls, without saving chat text alongside them. Opening the concierge places the current page in its inquiry privacy mode. Copying a project outline copies text to your clipboard; it does not submit it. Phone, email and WhatsApp links open the respective service only when you select them. You can also use the ordinary contact form instead of AI.
Project films
Project films are hosted by Vimeo. On project pages, the film normally loads automatically and begins muted when the page opens. Reduced-motion or data-saving preferences, and direct photograph links, leave playback to your choice. This connects your browser to Vimeo, which receives connection information such as your IP address, browser details and this website’s origin.
We enable Vimeo’s Do Not Track player setting. This limits its player analytics and new cookies; your browser may still send existing Vimeo cookies. Loading a film is separate from your choices about Google Analytics and session replay. The photographs remain available when playback is blocked, disabled or unavailable. See Vimeo’s privacy policy for its processing details.
Accessibility controls
The accessibility button at the lower left opens optional text spacing, contrast, link highlighting and reduced-motion adjustments. Preferences are stored in this browser, on this device. They are functional settings, separate from analytics and session replay consent. If browser storage is unavailable, adjustments apply only to the current page. Reset adjustments returns these controls to their defaults; your device settings are still respected.
