South Gretna Green Way
Timber repeats through the South Gretna Green interior in cabinetry, shelves, stair treads and vertical fins. Rather than treating each room as a separate material study, the photographs show a shared palette changing in scale from room to room.
From kitchen fronts to stair fins.
The kitchen combines broad timber cabinet fronts with a pale island and glazed upper cupboards. At the stair, slender balusters meet a screen of vertical timber fins. Fitted shelving continues beside the fireplace, linking the circulation space to the adjoining room.
Joinery at the room’s edge.
Suspended glazed cabinetry marks the dining area. In the bathroom, ribbed fronts sit below two tall mirrors and white wall boards. The garden room offers a different edge: a glazed corner looking across the pool and lawn toward the main house.
Rio Flora Place
Pale cabinetry, veined surfaces and warm metallic tones recur throughout the Rio Flora interiors. The photographs move from a complete media wall to the smaller relationships between shelves, mirrors, fittings and recessed niches.
A wall with several roles.
The media wall brings a mounted screen, a veined surface and low fitted cabinetry into one composition. Nearby, open display shelves sit beside the fireplace. A vertical illuminated display continues this attention to storage and surfaces along the hall.
The detail at a smaller scale.
A long vanity combines pale cabinetry with mirrors beneath high windows. In the shower, a vertical series of niches is recessed within the veined wall. Brass-toned fittings and closely framed mirrors bring a finer scale to the bathroom views.
Halderman Street
Broad openings connect Halderman’s living spaces to the garden. Timber floors and cabinetry continue the warm interior palette, while skylights and tall windows bring daylight into the kitchen, dressing room and bathroom.
Light above the working surface.
Rectangular skylights sit above the kitchen, where timber cabinetry surrounds a pale island and dark pendant lights. The garden-facing living room carries the timber palette outward through a wide opening to the terrace.
A consistent approach to storage.
Open shelves and drawers line the dressing room beneath a skylight. In the bathroom, a long timber vanity pairs pale counters with dark fittings. Beyond the glazed rooms, a pool, lawn and terraces connect the separate parts of the garden.
Fairburn Avenue
The living spaces at Fairburn Avenue open to a long courtyard. Tall glazing connects the lower rooms, while an upper balcony gives the outdoor space a more enclosed scale. Pale floors and timber cabinetry carry that sense of continuity inside.
Arrival, light and the stair.
A recessed timber door sits beneath overhead beams at the front entrance. Inside, the stair follows a tall glazed wall, pairing timber steps with a dark handrail and clear glass panels. The entrance and landing make changing levels part of the experience of the house.
A courtyard that belongs to the rooms.
The kitchen, dining and lounge areas share broad views toward the planted exterior. In the kitchen, pale timber fronts meet a dark island base and a light countertop. Beyond the courtyard seating, a long pool and narrow lawn extend along the boundary wall.
Dobbins Place
Timber gives the rooms at Dobbins Place a common language. It appears in the cabinetry, patterned floors, stair treads and library shelving, while dark-framed glazing connects the interior to the garden.
An open stair with a fine rhythm.
The stair combines warm treads and handrails with slender dark balusters. Daylight reaches the landing through tall windows. Nearby, the kitchen repeats the timber palette against glazed cupboards and a dark-framed partition, with herringbone flooring running beneath the island.
From the library to the garden.
In the study, shelves rise to the ceiling and continue the line of the overhead beams. The living room takes a different scale, opening broadly toward the pool garden. A timber-lined sauna enclosure adds another, more intimate room to the sequence.
Dixie Canyon
A broad opening connects the beamed kitchen and dining space to the terrace and the hills beyond. Timber cladding, glass balustrades and long horizontal edges follow the residence across the hillside.
Living along the outlook.
Pale ceiling beams cross the kitchen and dining room above a wide opening to the terrace. Outside, clear guarding keeps the hillside in view. The covered terrace extends this sequence with a timber ceiling and a sheltered place to sit.
Cabinetry and the line of the room.
A dark island anchors the open kitchen beneath hanging lights. In the bathroom, timber fronts sit below a dark counter, twin mirrors and wall-mounted lights. Tall glazing and pale surfaces carry daylight through the bath area.
South Bundy Drive
A broad lawn and pool sit between the main house and a separate garden pavilion. Large openings connect the interior rooms to that outdoor space, while white cabinetry, timber floors and dark metalwork give the house a consistent palette.
A taller entrance, a finer stair detail.
The entrance rises through two levels, with wall panels and tall side glazing framing the front doors. Nearby, the stair uses a repeating geometric balustrade above timber treads. The pattern introduces a smaller scale within the larger open room.
Workspaces and garden rooms.
The kitchen places a timber island within white fitted cabinetry. A narrow pantry provides another working surface and a view through to the dining room. Across the garden, the pavilion opens widely toward the pool and lawn, extending the sequence of gathering spaces.
Nowita Place
A long view begins at the timber entrance and continues through the living and dining rooms. Dark-framed glazing holds the garden along one side, while pale floors, white walls and darker joinery give the open interior a clear structure.
An open room with a darker edge.
A ribbed dark wall frames the dining area and tall glazing. Geometric pendant lights give the table its own position within the larger room. The nearby study is quieter, with two tall windows and a simple timber desk against white walls.
A change of scale in the private rooms.
The bathroom pairs a freestanding white bath with a dark-lined shower behind clear glass. Daylight enters through a tall window. In the wardrobe, a skylight sits over white shelves, drawers and hanging rails, making the fitted storage easy to read.
Rivas Canyon
Tall glass openings connect the living room to terraces and garden. Broad timber flooring runs through the shared spaces, while dark cabinetry and window frames define the rooms against the landscape.
The home and its setting.
A pool, planted banks and timber terraces surround the residence. The garden-facing rooms use broad openings and high windows to keep the landscape in view. At the entrance, steps and pale retaining edges frame a straight approach through the planting.
From the room to the threshold.
In the living room, timber flooring meets tall dark-framed glazing. The kitchen sets pale counters against dark cabinetry. A freestanding bath and long vanity bring a different scale to the same relationship between daylight, surfaces and garden views.
Petit Avenue
Timber panels, dark shelving and veined surfaces give each room at Petit Avenue a distinct frame. Broad glazing draws daylight into the entrance and study, while fitted cabinetry keeps the larger interiors ordered.
A clear frame for each space.
Dark built-in shelves and a veined fireplace wall define the living room. At the entrance, full-height side glazing casts daylight across the broad door and timber panels. A clear glass partition encloses the study while keeping its tall windows in view.
Surfaces with a finer rhythm.
The kitchen island combines pale vertically ribbed ends with timber cabinetry and hanging lights. In the bathroom, a strongly veined tub sits beneath a matching wall surface. The dining space brings together veined walls, dark shelving and a wall-mounted wine display.
Chalon Road
Timber, glass and planted walls carry a common thread through Chalon Road. Broad openings connect the living room to the garden, while cabinetry and closely framed surfaces give the interior its finer scale.
A planted interior volume.
Tall planted walls rise through the atrium toward overhead glazing. In the adjoining living space, a white ceiling grid frames timber panels above pale flooring and a broad garden opening. Outside, white walls and timber cladding line the pool elevation.
The detail within the room.
At the stair landing, clear glass guarding meets a slender dark handrail and timber wall panels. In the kitchen, veined surfaces continue from the island to the backsplash beside fitted cabinetry. Each view makes the meeting of surfaces part of the larger room.
Oakmont Drive
Pitched roofs and dark exterior cladding frame the approach to Oakmont. Inside, timber flooring, fitted cabinetry and tall windows carry a common rhythm through rooms with distinct proportions and surface treatments.
A rhythm across floors and ceilings.
The living room pairs a coffered ceiling with a broad garden opening and a dark fireplace wall. In the kitchen, timber ceiling beams and hanging lights sit above dark glazed cabinets and veined counters.
Different rooms, precise boundaries.
A clear glass partition reveals the dark bottle racks of the wine room. The study uses fitted timber shelves and panels beside tall glazing. In the bathroom, strong veining continues across the floor and walls around a freestanding bath and glazed shower.
